A Promise Built on Compassion, Not Just Contracts
At Family Pug Puppies, we believe in doing what’s right—for you, for your family, and most importantly, for every puppy we bring into this world. We understand that even the best intentions can meet unexpected challenges, and we want you to know: we’re in this with you, not just for the happy moments, but through the difficult ones too.
This policy isn’t about fine print. It’s about integrity, accountability, and ensuring every Pug we raise finds their true forever home—even if that journey takes an unexpected turn.
💙 Our Core Commitment: Your Pug Always Has a Home
The Forever Promise
No Family Pug Puppy will ever end up in a shelter, rescue, or uncertain situation—not on our watch.
Whether it’s been three days, three months, or three years since you brought your Pug home, if circumstances change and you can no longer provide the care they need, we’re here. Always.
What This Means:
- We will accept back any puppy or adult dog we’ve bred, at any age, for any reason
- No judgment. No guilt. Just genuine support and solutions.
- Your Pug will receive immediate veterinary care, love, and a safe environment while we find their next chapter
- We handle all logistics including coordinating safe transport if needed
This isn’t a courtesy—it’s our sacred responsibility as ethical breeders.
🔄 72-Hour Adjustment Period
Getting It Right From the Start
We carefully match each puppy to their family based on temperament, energy level, and lifestyle compatibility. However, we understand that sometimes the reality of bringing home a new puppy doesn’t match expectations—and that’s completely okay.

Option 1: Puppy Exchange If you feel your puppy’s personality or energy level isn’t the right match for your household:
- Exchange for another available puppy from current or upcoming litters
- No additional fees (if selecting equal or lesser value puppy)
- We’ll work with you until you find your perfect match
- Original puppy returns to our care
Option 2: Partial Refund If an exchange isn’t suitable for your situation:
- Refund of 50% of purchase price (excluding delivery fees)
- Puppy returns to our care healthy and well
- All original paperwork and supplies returned
Option 3: Full Refund (Health-Related Only) If your veterinarian identifies a serious health concern within 72 hours:
- 100% refund of purchase price
- Must be confirmed by your licensed veterinarian with written documentation
- Excludes minor treatable conditions (umbilical hernia, mild stress-related symptoms)
- Puppy may return to us or remain with you based on diagnosis and circumstances
📋 Requirements for Return/Refund Eligibility
To protect both families and our puppies, we ask that:
✅ Veterinary Examination: Your puppy must be examined by a licensed veterinarian within 48 hours of arrival (we provide a health certificate, but your vet should verify)
✅ Timely Communication: All return/exchange requests must be initiated within 72 hours of puppy delivery/pickup
✅ Puppy’s Condition: Puppy must be in good health, unharmed, and properly cared for during their time with you
✅ Documentation Provided: All original paperwork, health records, microchip information, and supplies returned
✅ Safe Return Arranged: We coordinate transport or pickup to ensure puppy’s safety (costs may be shared based on circumstances)

❓ Frequently Asked Questions
