📋 Your Responsibilities as a Pug Parent

To maintain guarantee validity, we ask that you:

  1. Veterinary Care: Schedule a wellness exam with your veterinarian within 72 hours of pickup/delivery
  2. Vaccination Protocol: Follow recommended vaccination schedules and maintain records
  3. Proper Nutrition: Feed high-quality dog food appropriate for pugs (we provide specific recommendations)
  4. Weight Management: Keep your Pug at a healthy weight to prevent strain on joints and breathing
  5. Spay/Neuter Agreement: We recommend waiting until at least 12 months of age before spaying/neutering to allow proper skeletal development. Early alteration may affect guarantee coverage for orthopedic conditions.
  6. Communication: Notify us immediately if any health concerns arise—we’re here to help!

💙 If a Covered Condition Occurs

Should your veterinarian diagnose a covered hereditary condition within the 24-month guarantee period, here’s how we’ll make it right:

Step 1: Contact us with the diagnosis from your licensed veterinarian, including medical records and testing results

Step 2: We’ll review the documentation (we may request a second opinion from a specialist at our expense)

Step 3: If confirmed as a covered genetic condition, you’ll receive ONE of the following options:

Option A: Replacement puppy from a current or upcoming litter of comparable quality

  • You may keep your original puppy
  • No additional purchase price required

Option B: Refund equal to 75% of original purchase price

  • Applicable if you choose not to accept a replacement puppy
  • Original puppy remains with you

We will NEVER ask you to return your beloved family member. They’re yours, regardless of health challenges.
