By welcoming a Welsh Corgi from Chris Welsh Corgi, you enter into a shared commitment to the lifelong well-being of your puppy. These terms reflect our mutual responsibility—not just as breeder and buyer, but as stewards of this beloved breed.

Your Commitments

Financial Responsibility
You agree to pay the full purchase price and any delivery fees as specified in your signed agreement.

Safe & Supervised Care

• Provide constant supervision appropriate for a young puppy
• Ensure a secure, fully puppy-proofed home
• Never allow unsupervised outdoor access

Humane Standards

• Feed high-quality, breed-appropriate food with fresh water always available
• Offer comfortable shelter, soft bedding, and protection from extreme weather
• Maintain regular veterinary care, grooming, exercise, and daily companionship

Open Communication
You welcome occasional, respectful check-ins from us to ensure your Corgi is thriving.

Our Commitments

Health & Transparency

• Every puppy is examined by our licensed veterinarian before going home
• You’ll receive complete health records, vaccination/deworming history, and AKC registration papers
• All puppies are raised with early socialization and temperament evaluation

72-Hour Health Verification

• You must have your Corgi examined by your own vet within 72 hours of arrival
• If a serious, pre-existing congenital condition is diagnosed, you may return the puppy for a full refund
• We cover return transport costs and require written veterinary documentation

Lifetime Rehoming Promise

• If you can no longer care for your Corgi—at any age, for any reason—you agree to contact us first
• We retain the right of first refusal and will always offer to take your dog back or help rehome responsibly
• Never surrender to a shelter, rescue, or third party without notifying us

30-Day Adjustment Period

• If your Corgi isn’t the right fit for your household (non-health related), you may return them within 30 days for a full refund (minus delivery fees) or exchange for another available puppy

Important Restrictions

Your Corgi must never be:

• Sold to or surrendered at a pet store, shelter, or unapproved rescue
• Transferred to a research facility or laboratory
• Used for breeding without our written consent
• Placed in any situation involving neglect, abuse, or unsafe handling

Any transfer of ownership to another person requires our prior written approval.

Final Agreement

By taking your Welsh Corgi home, you acknowledge and agree to these terms. Together, we ensure every Corgi lives a healthy, loved, and protected life—from our home to yours, and always with a safety net beneath them.
